If there are no marking your chances of finding a manual + a remote for it are slim. Just take out the unidentified module and replace it. Decent alarms these days cost as much as a meal, plus you already have all the wires in one place. Easy decision.

Are the factory alarms clearly labeled? I know that if it's an aftermarket alarm there's no way I'll figure out what it is and will follow that advice. The lack of a brandname on it makes me think it could be the stock alarm and if that's the case I could probably get a remote for it.
If there is anyone with a 2nd gen and a digital camera that could click me a picture of the factory CPU then it would totally settle this. Plus you'd get the added bonus of being my hero. EDIT: I have a very crappy digital camera, i can try and get pics tomorrow maybe. -Keith Last edited by breakerfalls; 02-08-2004 at 06:08 PM. |
