HELP with LIGHTS BADLY....

I got a tacoma and last nite while driving I swiched from my regular driving lights to my brights and they all when off, I couldn't get them on, no low bim or high bim??? the only way they would work was if i keep my light stick pushed back and hold it there, thats how i drove home, today i replaced both of my headlights and still nothing????
help please!!!

Its probably the stock itself (the part in the steering column). You may have broken contacts in there. That's my guess.

where can i get the "stock"? do i have to go to the dealer? is it call stock?

I dont think that is the technical term for it. I dont have the FSM, so you will have to have the guy at the parts counter look it up for you. They could do that over the phone.

It seems weird that this part would go out on you...

Did you check all the fuses too?

Some of the electrical gurus on here may have some testing ideas for you. Hang in there...

You may need a multimeter. Do you have one?

I can get a reader, yes I checked all the fuses too. thanks for the help. I'll be waiting.
btw you got a 4runner right? do you happen to know if your O2s would fot a taco?
