I've been looking for a cheaper option than the JAOS spoiler. Just buy it and try it
if it doesnt fit just sell it on ebay

If you make it fit im sure it will...but the holes are not the same, nor will it fit the contour of the door.

the LX-470 might be closer, but still you are playing with fire there. The LX470 is the same thing as a 100 series LC (in many aspects) so it will be wider. As for mounting, i dunno but as long as you dont mind drilling holes in your $2000 back gate, anything will fit

The Jaos spoiler is only $400 when painted. I've been wanting one for awhile.

I believe Jason B has it on his website for $200 but don't quote me. I know it wasn't much more than this.

Why are even the non Jaos spoilers so much, when the ones for the 4th gen are almost the same thing but alot less.

I don't think it would fit a 3rd gen 4Runner. The GX470 and the new body style 4Runners are mechanically similar. I'm with you, Jaos is awesome but too much money

yes that is cheaper but you have to factor in paint, and from my previous experiences, thats not cheap at all

Read it again. "only $400" meant w/ painting. What I said was that the actual spoiler is around $200. You don't have to paint it and even if you got a Lexus one, you'd have to paint that too.

well i found a lexus one painted black for $200. and i was refering to fuzions post about a slightly cheaper one. in the end it looks as though $400 is about as low as you will get one, unless you get lucky at a salvage yard

hey luke,

anyway you cut it, the rear jaos-type spoilers are definitely not cheap. even used or the knockoff kind. unless you find a used one that is the same color as yours, its not a cheap proposition to add one to your vehicle.

i have a rear spoiler (OEM) that i am trying to get rid of. its yours for free if you pay the shipping. it does need the hardware kit though and you need to drill into your rear tailgate if you dont have the stock pre-drilled holes.
