GX470 rims, OEM Lift ect. finally done (pic inside)

Ok, after 3 weeks of working and fighting my car, I have the stuff done.
I put all new suspension bushings, ball joints, steering rack and endlinks on the front, and the complete oem lift kit from steve at sonoran steel, it was alot easier just getting everything i need from him at one time.
I did not install the front top spacer yet, so the rear is really high.(im debating it though, the cv axel angle is worrying me, the rear is also higher on the driveway, it isnt quite as high as the pic seems)
I also picked up a set of OEM Lexus GX470 rims in the hyper silver color, and put 265/70r17 Nitto Terra-Grapplers on it. also have a 1.5" wheel spacer on to make the offset right as the 120 platforms have wider axels so the wheel backspacing is more.
they do rub in the front though, the limited flair piece on the bumper and barely at the rear in the wheel well on a plastic shield, they both will be trimmed a little when i get a chance. center caps are off because i need to get the little toyota emblems to replace the lexus ones.

heres a pic. i was really worried, but i am very pleased at the way it turned out. i was thinking the tires might be too small, but they look ok.
i will take better pics in the light tomorrow.

what do you think?

yeah, definately. Here is a before and after of just the lift (and before I pulled the running boards) 147k on the odometer, and it didnt have much, if any rear sag, untill a load was put on it of course...

no spacer. and hte 265/70r16 tires with barely any tread. I widh i could run 2 per side up front but that would definately kill the cv's. (The spacers are the ones that bamachem makes) iirc they are 5/8" thick delrin type stuff.

Overall, it looks good, but to me, there's too much rake. I don't really believe the rear will settle all that much and has made me rethink the LC coils.

I'm sure the ride is great but if you can't get the front to get closer, it wouldn't work for me.

I dont know why noone ever says this, but, if you do a strict OME lift front and rear (coils only), Your rear will be much higher than the front for a while..until it sags.

This may or may not be true. There are many OME (Old Man Emu) options.

However, Klye has just installed an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) lift assembled by Sonoran Steel LLC. IIRC, Sonoran claims that you will get 2" - 2.5" in the front and 3" - 3.5" in the rear. It looks like that's what Kyle got.

i did get right around 2 in the front and 3.5 in the rear. I am probobly going to install the front spacer, but im going to leave it alone for a few weeks I think. we will see how much it settles.
the ride is amazing. not rough, but firm. feels planted to the road, and on dirt roads too. im excited.
as far as lowering the rear, a steel replacement bumper and tire carrier should take care of that....

i bet 285's would fit on there if you got the front end up a little more. over all it looks quite nice.

yeah i was very close to doing 295's, but the price difference was 64 a tire. and 295's would really be cutting it close. plus i didnt want to deal with the loss of power and the gas mileage drain, i tow a little, and that would make it worse. im totally happy with the 265's so far.

I want a set of those GX470 rims instead of the 4Runner limiteds. They are nice, and would look sweet powder coated black.
