Fuel System Question
Maybe someone that works at Toyota can help me with this.
I have a friend that works at Toyota and I took my car to him. We were trying to diagnose a miss so we ran some fuel injector cleaner through it. He hooked everything up to the cold start injector and I started the car. The guage on the regulator for the injector cleaner was reading 75 psi. We then found out that he did not disconnect the fuel pump. I'm guessing it was gas that was dripping out of my exhaust pipe. It still seems to run ok. Could this have damaged my injectors or anything else?
After the car has been sitting, it seems to sputter a little bit when first accelerating at low rpms. The car is cold and has been sitting for a few hours. What would cause this and are the two related?
Thanks alot.
