actually, i dont think it would be all that hard if its not a direct bolt on. just from looking at the mounts for TJM bumpers on a 96-98, its not much different if at all from a 99-02. the mounting brackets all seem to be pretty much the same. i think if you really want to do this conversion, it wouldnt take too much time or effort.
but as always, someone correct me if i am wrong and the mountig brackets differ substantially...
