Sooooo me and my dad have QUITE a prediciment going on now with our runners

he has some kind of cooper tires on his 99 runner that need replaced within two months....they are 265\70\16's

I have BFG longtrail T\As that he put on before the first gen became mine..they have about 60% of their tread left. they are 225\35\15's

he DID pay for those longtrails.

Now heres the issue..I am trying to convince him that we should switch our wheels and tires...He has an Auto and 4.10 gears...i have a 5 speed and 4.56 gears....

I would end up buying new tires...Revos with the $75 mail in rebate which comes out to like $450 or so.

Would this swap work out for both of us? or is there no way his truck will fit 15in wheels?

15" wheels won't fit over the bigger brakes on the 16" equiped 4Runner.
