Well here's a pic. See the gap between the air box tube and the fender? There a pic of that link and from my earlier post of what you're taking out. HTH tacomadude

Peter and Jay,
That is why I took the hacksaw to the elbow part so that you can retain the fit between the air box and the elbow part. Looks more flush that way w/o the big ass gap that Jay's pic shows.
As we are in So Cal, I can't imagine us wandering into a flooded road or channel high enough for the elbow to ingest water, so to me, its a non-issue. However, if you go *looking* for one, that's another story!
