EGR Temp Sensor -- 22RE

I just found out that the EGR Temp Sensor was the cause of my code 71 that kept coming up on my 94 Pickup, 22RE.

Does anyone on here have an extra one that is working that they'd be willing to send me? I'm a VERY poor college kid, thats why I'm checking here before I have to figure out how to swing buying the thing from the Stealership.

I got reamed for $128 for it (and yes, I am also a poor college kid but we all have our priorities!)

I didn't mean just a free one necessarily... I just figured I'd ask on here before I went and dropped $156 on the new one. You never know, it's worth a shot

Alright, next question in relation to this thing... aside from the annoyance of the light being on all the time, are there any negatives effects from having that thing being bad? I don't really know, but it seems like about the time the light initially came on, I started having problems with the way it runs, idles and sometimes starts when cold...

All I know is that all these systems were put in place for a reason and they must all be functional for youre truck to run/perform at it's best. With that beeing said, I niticed NO diferance after replacing mine so I wouldn't think twice about putting off the replacement for a while (say this summer when you are out of school and raking in some cash).
