do you need a lift/new shocks w/TJM or ARB bumpers?
The TJM T-15 bumper weighs ~ 75 pounds or so... will this produce noticeable droop in the front of a 3rd gen. with factory shocks/suspension? ( 2001 SR5)
Do you need to get lifts and/or better shocks if you plan to install one of these?
How does this extra front-end weight affect the driving?
I'd like to hear from the many of you TJM/ARB owners

Typically the weight lowers the front ~ 1/3 inch IIRC. It will probably soften up the ride slightly but you get used to it in a day or 2.
Are you thinking winch to? A winch is around 70 pounds in addition to the bumper weight. That will make it sag 1/2 inch or so.

From what I've heard, the sag is more noticable with factory suspension. The bumper will cause no more than 1/2" sag depending on the condition of the suspension. Add a winch (especially with standard cable) and you'll lose up to another 1/2". From what I've read, most people with just the bumper do not adjust their suspension. Most people with a bumper AND winch add spacers up front.
That's just what I've read.

i had stock coils with a 2.5" spacer in them when i installed the TJM. they sagged to under 2" lift in less than a month.
get the bumper now, and save up for SAWs and OME rear.
