Digital Design Subs

my friend said he could get me a real good deal on a 8 inch digital design subwoofer. I know these are real good subs but ive never had any experience with 8 inch subs. Would this hit as hard as my 2 tens, because my friend says it will, but im a little shaky on that. Also is there a sound difference in the 8's.

Well first off you are using, how shall we say, less than optimal subs by using those kenwoods...lol

The only sub that DD offers in an 8" is the 1008. It is their lowest line entry level sub. It WILL sound better than the kenwoods, as to if they'd be equally loud - probably when one 8" vs kenwood 10". Now if you tried a DD3510, I'd say yes it will be hands down louder than your two kenwood 10s and it will sound 1000x better.

Here is DD's site:

FYI - if it's not on this page they dont make it save the 9910. I own 2 9915s.
