Most if not all of the Taco's use NGK's on one side and Denso's on the other... Not really sure why, but i usually go with the NGK's when i replace the plugs in my Toy's

I have a 99 4runner SR5. Anyhow, would it be bad if I used all denso or all NGK? is there any harm in using bosche? I just find it soooooo odd that toyota would do this? I have a 98 supra and all the plugs are the same!

I have a '99 and used Bosche dual electrode with no problems. A few guys here say that they've had problems with non-NGK or Denso plugs. I'll just leave it at that.

Everybody has different opinions on plugs but I've come to the conclusion that not all plugs are created equal and the maker of the vehicle should know what brand is best suited for the design of their engine!! Stick to the OEM plugs NGK's or DENSO's for best results. All plugs, as well as vehicles, have failures!!
