Just finished a web page on the cross linked air shocks and in cab controls that I recently installed on my 4Runner.

I included a number of thoughts that occurred to me as I was planning and installing this system, plus a lot more detail and photos of the installation.

Will be updating the page as I get more experience with the system.

I took some more photos this morning with the focus on clearances in the various problem areas and posted them here mostly at the bottom of the page.

Shown below is the drive shaft to gas tank shield clearance which by eyeball was about 3/8" remaining. (I didn't want to get under the vehicle any further for closer measurement of the clearance with it sitting there on 3 wheels).

So the 1 1/4" additional shock length looks to be about the limit for increased articulation, if you want to leave some clearance for additional axle movement due to bushing compression.

It lucked out that the zerk grease fitting was in the perfect place to see how close it is coming to the shield..
