I just got an overhead console with the sunglass holder for my 96 4Runner, but I have no clue which wires in the blue 99+ harness correspond with the 2 button setup on my 96.

Is it even possible to convert the 2 button setup of older 4Runners into the 1 button setup of the 99+?

i poured over the '96 and '99+ wiring diagrams for a couple days to figure out the differences and came up with the solution.... just can't find it now. let me keep looking...
