Check Engine Light

Is there a way to figure out the code for a check engine light without a scanner?


I have a 99 4runner ltd.

Well you need a scanner to get the code.

You can get them read by free from a auto parts store.

x2 autozone, advanced auto I know they will read it for free and tell you what your issue/issue's are not sure about Canada but you should check they might do it there too.
