Battery for 97 4Runner 4 Cylinder
Hi:
Can someone tell me what is the ampere requirement for the 97 4Cylinder 4Runner. I would like to know what is the Cold Crank Ampere requirement. Also has anybody tried using the Optima battery? Is it fully compatible with the conventional battery?
Thanks,
Jim

I'm running a Optima Red Top in my 96 2.7L
I have had no problems. I left my off road lights on for about an hour truck started right up.
My 10" sub hits a little harder.

This is the 1st time I've heard of anybody having a 4 cyl 3rd gen 4Runner btw, I knew Toyota made them, but I've never, and I mean never ran into anybody that had one. It's not a bad thing, so don't take it personally
