Axle Wrap Gone
OK now why when I have my truck in 4X4 it doesn't do the Axle wrap? Like when I come to a stop it doesn't lurch, or kick or whatever you want to call it. It also doesn't get that kick in the rear when i let off the brake to start going? Has anybody else noticed this?

are u sure its axel wrap? im not 100% sure but i thought axel wrap was something like when u gas it around a corner and the truck hopps in back because the leaf springs are twisting like an S shape?

well in 4x2, all the power is going to the rear wheels, and in 4x4 half or at least a bias is going to the rear wheels, so not all that torque is going to the rear.... makes sense? sounds perfectly acceptable, well normal for that to happen

Bud Built has a nice solution to axle wrap.
http://www.budbuilt.com/new/traction_bars.html
More power distribution to the front takes away from the torque applied to the rear when in 4x so the axle wrap is less noticable. It does still occur and can be felt when crawling through rocks etc. when gassing it.
