Auto Shut-off Headlights
Has anyone reprogrammed the lights to shut-off (4th Gen. 4Runner)) when the driver's door is opened (instead of the 30 second delay), in the auto mode? If so, could you post the procedure. I know if you hit the remote twice the lights will go off, I want the lights to go off when the driver's door is opened in the auto mode.

Maybe you don't mind all your lights on for 30 seconds after the engine is turned off, but I do. I'm sure it will take a good amount of life out of your battery over time.

huh? you think having the lights on for 30 secs over the life of using the car will drain the life out of your battery? I would think that would only happen if you ran your rig in 1-2min intervels...
