anyone running rock crawler 152's or alloy 1059's
im looking for pics of people running 16x8 rock crawler 152's or xtreme alloy 1059's on their 4runner. im looking at both since i might be needing new rims, and want to see how they'll look, and if youve had any problems installing them, or having issues w/ rubbing anywhere.
also, does anyone know the approx weight diff between a alloy and steel 16x8 rim? thanks

I ran the 152's in a 15" rim but I have since changed them out for a rim that will allow a weight to be pounded onto the outer ledge (function over beauty). One big advantage of these rims or at least the ones I had was that the outer fake bead-lock ring was fully welded on and not just bolted on with 3 bolts like some of the allied ones are. The welded ring will take one heck of a beating and not bend like the simpler style steel rims.
They seem to hold a bead pretty well even when put in bad situations.... 9psi with a bunch of weight on it.
edit.... I caught this off the main page and didn't see the forum it was listed in. Probably not much help for the years of vehicle you are looking to see them on... sorry
