Anyone have a Lift-Mate?

I was thinking of getting a set since I don't have sliders or anything strong enough for a Hi-lift.

It looks like it would work fairly well, but does it actually?

well you can use the hilift for many other things than just changing tires but i don't see how you could really do much by hooking onto the wheel.

i would get a thing that hooks on the bumper before that thing or just get sliders.

I've got one of those. I bought it after trying to help a F250 that was stuck in a snowbank. Even with chains on my runner, I almost didn't have enough weight to pull his truck out. All we really needed was to lift his tire out of the hole he'd dug and drop some branches or the like underneath. It'd be good for something like that.

If you have a hi-lift for your own rig, invest in sliders. If you don't need sliders, you probably don't need a hi-lift! I got that so I could help other people who didn't have them...
