he is asking for help from those who have 3rd gen 4Runners (VZN185L and RZN185L) that are equipped with a rear differential lock. question 1. How to mount to the body the large metal bracket in the harness (e-locker harness?) question 2: If you can show pictures how the bracket is attached. not sure about this but the harness seems to be that of a 95 series prado not for a N185 (3rd gen 4Runner/Hilux Surf).

From memory after swapping my e-locked axle from the 99 to the 02, that pic of the harness looks correct for the 185 (3rd gen 4runner). It bolted up near where the upper (stem end) of the left-hand side rear shock bolted in. Unfortunately, in my '02, that position was taken by a brakeline bracket so mine is not setup the same. Hopefully someone can get a pic.... HTH

Thanks for your answer. Could you please take some pictures of your solution.
I have one more question:
Does REAR STABILIZER (BAR) hit against the e-locked axle in your car, when the rear axle goes down?

the stabilizer bar is attached to the rear axle and it moves with the axle. so the answer to your question is no, it doesn't hit the e-locker.

I mean this place:

On my car I have very small space between the stabilizer bar and the rear axle.
And when the rear axle goes down the stabilizer bar thrustes diff lock.

I would just remove the stabilizer bar, you don't need it anyway

Sorry it took me so long... I was kinda hoping somebody could snap a pic of what theirs looks like in stock configuration. Here is what mine looks like. I've removed that bracket as I didn't have room for it. Stock configuration would have it mount just about--if not exactly--in the same spot as the brakeline bracket in my pics. HTH

You can install the rear locking diff but you'll need to make some modifications to the wiring of the 4WD computer
