another color option poll please read

alright so its nearing the time my rigs about to go into the shop. i have a set of bushwackers going on and a new front bumper along with some other stuff. now originally i was gonna have the flares and lower valence painted satin black but lately iv been thinking of color matching them to the rest of the car and having the rear license plate surround done also. so take a look at the pics in my sig and give it a vote. no i will not be taking the car offraoding in the near future.
so get em done black
get em sone color matched
anyother ideas???

Get them colour matched, since you're not taking your ride off-road anytime soon anyways. Here's a before and after pic, its not the best photoshop since I just started learning but it gives you an idea.

dexter,I see you live here in Denver and consider that a painted valance will get extremely beat up after even just one winter.

Don't get me wrong, monochrome scheme is great but they look bad after they get beat up. I do think there is a precaution you can take and see if there is a more flexible but strong paint you could use on the valance.

I have a friend who works at a bodyshop and I'll ask him if their some better options than just standard paint, might cost a little more but it'll be worth it.

I should have an answer by tomorrow.

Yes, they can put a flex additive in the paint to make it last better. They'll still get kinda beat up though........

Just cammo the whole truck and then you won't have to worry!

i have 2 friends both with monochromatic runners (one 00 in mellinium silver that i might buy with a blower on it and some other goodies) and another with an 02 sport and this kid loves to tailagte big trucks comming home from the weeknds and both of their valences arnt beat up at all. they use a speacil flex additative/paint on plastic parts and then about 2-3 times more clear coat

Black.

Makes it look more rugged and less like a soccer mom car!
