Adjustable shocks - are they worth it?
I currently have a 2nd gen Hilux surf (jap 4Runner) with stock suspension, I have no sag but I hate the on-road ride - far too much roll. I find on-road slightly better with the rear elec adjustable suspension set to "hard", but still far from great.
I am going to fit a 2" lift kit with new shocks (probably Pro Comp), now my question is what kind of on-road and off-road ride can I expect compared with stock and is it worth going for adjustable shocks so I can vary the settings between on-road and off-road?
I do about 50/50 on-road/off-road so I want the best of both worlds or the best compromise between the two.
Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated...
