PLEASE HELP!!! My 94 toy p/u starts and then stalls but when I hold the flaper valve open on the air box it stays running. I even replaced the AFM with a used one and it still does the same thing. Is there a sensor that is used in conjunction with the AFM such as a fuel sensor or something. It was runn9ing for maybe a second with the old AFM and with the new one it runs for maybe 3-4 seconds. I adjusted the timing a few different positions and it didn't help. The truck ran fine when I drove it home after the motor swap and then left it sitting for 2 weeks and it wouldn't run.. Very frustrating!! Anyone have any suggestions? TPS? IDLE? COMPUTER? BTW there are no codes on the computer when I checked them. Just a steady blinking.
