is this 3vze a good deal?
someone is offering to sell me their 3vze with 160k for $500... does that sound like a good deal? apparently the motor is running perfectly...
on the other hand, i don't really know what i'd do with an extra 3vze seeing as how my current 3vze is working good. I'd probably just take it apart and try to rebuild it for the experience.

Never hurts to have another engine (re-built-up) lying around! $500 for a 160k 3.0 doesn't sound to bad. If even for the re-build experience.

At a yard in Mass, a used with around 125ish will bring $1500-$2000 Sounds like a good deal, I would put it on a stand, tear it down.. Send the block to be honed/bored and magnafluxed and rebuild the bottom end yourself. Then send the heads out for a full re-build and bolt it togather..
