Do you have any lift? 15" or 16" wheels?
If not... a 31" tire is probably about it. I ran 32/11.5-15s on my rig with a 3" lift and rubbed in the back at times. If you are on a 16" rim, you might be able to get away with a 32/10.5... is that a 275???

Yep, 265/75-16. I have that size on my '99 4runner and I have no problems. In fact, I love the look; it's a bit taller and beefier looking (I have the BFG A/T ko). One thing to keep in mind besides the mileage thing is that your speedometer and odometer will read inaccurately. You'll actually be going faster than the speedo says, but not by much. There are some conversion tables floating around the web and on this forum, I believe, to check that out.
Here's a good site for conversions etc... http://www.4lo.com/4LoCalc.htm
Good luck!
