Hey Duke, I'm not going to be of much help on this. I don't know the answer to this question. Sorry buddy.

But, if you could be more specific as to what you mean by they do not fit, that would be beneficial in troubleshooting. Are they too long, too short, too fat, too skinny? Is the connector wrong?

Maybe if you can provide this, Gadget can help you.

You are right Galen, I should clarify. The 305cc injectors that I bought (23209-46031) do not fit correctly on my '99 4Runner. They can be inserted, but it does not seal correctly. The orifice of the injector does not pass the air injection port. Also, the guy doing the install (and supposedly tuning the SAFC), mentioned that the injectors for '96-'98 4Runners are definitely different with the '99 + models.
Now, I also learned from Duffdog that the injectors from a '98 N/A Supra might work, so I just need somebody like Gadget to verify this (and maybe the part number too). I'm just glad that partznet.com will refund me for the injectors as long as I mail it back to them in good condition. My other alternative is to go with the 310cc RC Engineering injectors (which is getting to be more appealing at this time)

When I installed my Supra injectors I had to call Gadget(I even woke him up)! I was leary of the way they fit into the top of the engine, its definately not stock. Anyhow once I bolted down the fuel rail they seemed to seat just fine. I have about 25K with the supra 305 fuel injectors and eveything seems fine.

I thought they were way to short and missing an O ring supras did not have the crazy air passages that in some way assist the fuel injectors as stock on a 3.4.

What can I say they did not fit like stock but are currently working great.

Hope this helps, Chad

Hey Dukestr,

Go with the 370cc injectors. I'm going to get them as soon as I can get some money. That's what duffdog is running too. We would be the only three people that I know of running them.

They will fit just fine. Don't worry about the tips and that BS air assist system.

Are these turbo supra injectors? Do they have the same plugs for the wires? I want to run e85 and my 318's may not cut it. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it, thanks!

Why do you want to run E85? I don't even like the ethanol blends of 10%. I sometimes get misfires with it, I think its because the shelf life of blends is shorter and I end up with old gas but I could be wrong.

It's really cheap in my area and the availability is getting better. I have a group of friends that run it with no issues, they just check their fuel system and replace filters a little more often than usual. I know the price is offset by the mileage decrease, but I'm in it for the power gains and cooler temps in the motor.

Are you using an A/F ratio gauge and do you know the stoichiometric ratio of E85? I think its much closer to 9 than the 14.7 of gasoline.

Yeah it's right about 9.7, but it'll still read 14.7 on the a/f meter, unless I decide to calibrate it, but I'm not planning on doing that since I'm used to the 14.7:1 scale. Stoichiometric reactions give the same readings out of the exhaust (in terms of a/f numbers) regardless of the actual ratio it's at.

I made that sound a bit confusing, if the air:fuel mix burns at stoichiometric ratio (whether it be 14.7:1 for gas, 9.7:1 for e85, 17:1 for cng or whatever) then the meter will show it's stoichiometric. My wideband o2(innovate motorsports lc-1) sends a lambda value of 1 when it's burning at stoich. and it's setup to tell the gauge to display 14.7 since I'm running gas.

does anyone have the part number for the supra 305cc injector by chance?????? i am running Gadgets 7th injector kit but still getting ping, I am thinking it is probably because i am running the highest boost pulley, so i fifure throw in some slightly bigger main injectors and there you go

so if anyone has that part number for the supra 305cc that would be awesome

I think that would be risky, unless you have an FTC (fuel/timing controller) to tune adjustments. If you do have an FTC try pulling some timing to control ping. I assume you are already running premium.

Gadget has solved a few of the issues i was having with the unit, but when it cam to the cable issue he was unable to answer anything.

That sounds like your main problem then, what operating system is the laptop? Do you have fuel and timing control with that piggy back?

lol, I have no freaking clue bro, its an hp using windows vista...... the kit gadget sent me was the standard 7th injector with the split second controller.... no clue what it controls other than the extra injector. lol, i can build any motor, suspension set up, even dial in tuning in a SAFC/ SAFC2, but when it comes to hooking something to a freaking lap top,,,,, forget it, and that split second controller is weird, gadget never clarified to me what controller it actually was, wether it was just the 7th injector/timing or if it had the AF calibrator in it as well.
