3.0L supercharger???
Will the supercharger for the solara/camry fit on the 3.0L in the older yota trucks??? has anyone tried this?
i happened to be searching for a part for my buddies tundra when i came across it and got the idea that maybe it would work with some modification. can be seen at the following link

There is no quick, cheap (relatively speaking) way to make decent HP with the 3.0 Truck/4Runner engine. With $$ and skill you can swap in the 3.4 for about $2-3K. Then either the stock 3.4 is enough juice or you can SC that motor.

yea i figured that out. i would have had a donor 3.4 with the S/C but the insurance co wanted $4000 for my 4 month old totalled SRunner long story short on that is i hydroplaned and spun into a telephone pole that hit at the driverside of the firewall bending the firewall about 6" in and the floorboard was against the clutch pedal . but the engine still ran perfectly it had just under 11k miles on it.
anyway i think headers and gears are the next big install since it has 3.15 stock ratio and its on 35's. the guy atleast installed the downey clutch kit and the 10lb heavier flywheel. now i have to pickup and finish it so it can be bearable, 4th gear 70 mph to the floor i tach like 3k rpm should be in 5th tachin 3k at 70 mph
