2nd Gen Chrome Grill

I spent a few hours today rubbing the black off my grill,I used mineral terps at first, then tried a automotive rubbing compound,it was a little easier.
im very please with the results,

It looks GREAT! I'm wondering if some sort of paint and varnish remover would do the job without hurting the chrome or the plastic.

Well turps is basicly that anyway & it didnt hurt it,but it a lot easier(well its still hard work )to use rubbing compound or cut n polish.it was quicker with the rubbing compound but you fingers get pretty sore,& you may get a good case of W*#kers cramp, but its worth it.also i would recomend wearing surgeons gloves when using paint stipper or nail polish remover,I didnt & it is a little raw.

Picky, picky, picky.
