I'm aware of that, but it seems like a spacer for the upper ball joint will be especially bad for camber, are there pictures of one of these installed?

I can post some tonight. There's been some healthy threads on these, if you search on them there are quite a few pics already up.

Are you concerned that the camber cannot be adjusted? So far as I'm aware all 60+ pair out there have been successfully aligned.

Has anyone looked into the spring rates on 2WD torsion bars vs 4WD torsion bars? Is there any difference? What about 2WD pickups with a 4 cyl engine. They've got to be softer...

I got RSX 17010 in the front, and RSX 17327 in back. I carefully drilled the bushings out to 5/8, other than that, they pretty much bolted right up.

The RSX is a very good shock for off road, it is relatively stiff for body roll and braking, but loosens slightly for a sudden jolt with a pot hole or say maybe 2 feet of air... I have tested them in a couple situations, mainly rockcrawling and hauling ass on rough dirt roads with air time, have come away impressed. I'll bet I'm going to really like them in the sand dunes, the damping assures I'll be able to drive fast...

I acctually think the 2WD torsion bars are shorter in length.
2WD Lenght - 1979-1983 is 35.250, 1984-1997 is 35.125", T100 is 34.75"
4WD Lenght - Pre 1993 T-100 is 35.87", 1993-1997 T100 and 1986-1997 4Runner/Pick-up is 41.874"

Fun Facts: Toyota Landcruiser has 2 sizes 45.731" and 47.62". A Nissan Pathfinder 4WD 1987-1997 has a lenght of 48.437".
The Longest is the Mitsubishi 4WD & Pick Up/Dodge & Raider both 1990-1995 lenghts are 53.812", and the Mitsubishi 4WD,Montero/Dodge & Raider 1990-1994 both 1990-1994 has a lenght of 53.800".
Now how hard would it be to adapt one of these sets of Totsion bars to a Toyota. Sway-A-Way's where 25-27.5mm in diameter... (all info from SAW)

I looked into this years ago. The 4cylinder 4wd pickups have the smallest diameter torsion bars. All 4runners run the same bars regardless of engine size and it is the same as a V6 pickup. So, there is potential gain if you get the 4 cylinder pickup t-bars and put them in a V6 truck or better yet V6 4runner.
