2003 Tacoma doublecab 4x4 question
I am in search of a the above model and i found one at the local Toyota dealership but the problem is that it has high mileage 69,021. This is alot of miles for a 2003 but i assume it would all hwy miles. Should look more (there is slim pickings of this model in Dallas) or see what i can get this one for?
Those of you who drive a 2003 tacoma should i be concered with the mileage?

I don't have a 2003 Tacoma, but I've got the same engine. Many folks here have the 5vz engine that's in that truck. I wouldn't worry about the miles except as a financial concern. High miles means that the vehicle's perceived value is less. Should you toss another 50k on there in the next 3 years, it will have (obviously) more miles than one that started with 30k when you bought it.
Bottom line: If the price is right and it's in good shape (and it's what you want) go for it. Without resorting to cliches of limited value ("It's a Toyota" or "It's just getting broken in"), that truck has a good number of miles left in it.

It is a lot of miles for an '03 but it's still at the point that nothing is going to be too bad. If you can get a deal b/c of the miles, spend the difference on basic maintenance stuff and you should be good to go.
