Here's a good one.
This morning I went out to my 85 4runner, the rear window was down, and my battery was dead. I know I rolled it up yesterday after getting the dogs out. At first I thought maybe I forgot, but my girlfriend confirmed that I rolled it up, so I'm standing there scratching my head.

After jumping the truck and getting the battery charged up, it won't roll back up. The window has been working perfectly until this point.
It has been raining/snowing here for 2 days and I can only imagine that some moisture got into the key switch and shorted it, causing contact and the window to roll down by itself and trashing something causing the battery to drain. Before I jumped it, I tried the key switch and got the window to roll down the last few mm's and that was it.
I can hear the relays clicking when I try the rocker switch and the key switch.
I have been through Roger Brown's 4crawler site and am just baffled at what it could be. I'll be testing the motor later today.
I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, to save me some time searching.

It sounds to me that your "up" circuit has shorted, and maybe the "down" is grounding somewhere to activate it. Crack open the t-gate, let it dry out and check all your connections in there, I bet it's easily fixable.

I'm gonna get after it with the hair dryer. I'm guessing that in order to drain the battery, it was transferring just enough voltage to get the motor to move very slightly and slowly, so it took a few hours to get down...but not all the way down to trip the power cut off switch at the bottom of of it's travel.
