problem is this is all what my mom has told me. She took it in today while i was in school. i wish i had gone. the work has most likely been done by now and we'll prolly pick it up tomorrow. so what is there left for me to do?

I think hes right about the springs not being in the recall as i have a 2WD. But is there any way i can convince him its a safety hazard and that they should be replaced?

well i got it back today and it definately feels much better.

Big question though: Are the old rubber bumpstops above the axles supposed to still be on? i can see the new style put on inside the springs but the old ones are still there? should i remove them?

If you have a 2WD then yes, the dealer is correct......4WD gets the new springs.

Doesn't matter if the old bumpstops are still on or not because the ones in the coils will engage much quicker.
Old ones were more of a last resort to prevent the axle from going completely solid.

really!? the new ones engage before the olds? that means im only gunna get like <2 inch shock compression? is that correct? my old bumbstops are only about 2 inches off the axle
