Backspacing and offset are different. Backspacing is the measurement of the mounting surface in relation to the inside lip of the rim. Offset is the measurement of the mounting surface in relation to the center of the wheel. Therefor, a 0 offset on a 7" rim and a 0 offset on a 8" rim are not going to be the same number in backspacing terms.
To the OP, I don't know the backspacing of those wheels, but I can assure you they look GREAT on a 3rd gen.

if you use a wheel spacer you def. should not have to trim

you may have to trim the inside of the rim. it depends on how it sits, and how close it comes to the calipher. If you get them wheel spacers should save you from possibly having to do that. they also would be helpful if you go for wider tires down the road. cause 285,75 rub the upper a arm.
Can anyone else back me up on this?

They're TRD Ivan Stewart rims. 16x8, 4.5" BS. They'll fit fine, even with 285/75 you should be fine (A/T, M/T's the lugs may hit A-arm).
Rockslide had them on his runner for awhile.

I have those rims on my 2001 Stepside TRD Taco, and have NO problems with them at all. But if I may say: 1) I have found them on e-bay for far less in price (brand new, in box). 2) You need to be careful on which rim you get. They made those for with/without TPMS (and yes, there is a difference between the two).3) You will need to purchase all new lugs, as these use the thin acorn style and you will need the thin walled socket to match, as the lugs are mounted deep in the rim. Other than that, they are a heavy, but beautiful rim IMHO! I have mine static balanced and the weights are mounted in the center of the rim and they still clear the caliper. ENJOY!

its just my .02 but you might want to check c-list first. because you avoid shipping, see before you buy and possibly negotiate, but of course for some people craigslist just isnt worth it, to me its worth a shot
