i'll also be watching your rear disc swap. now that i have a trailer (oh yeah!), ample stopping would be a good thing. also, it looks cooler haha

Just called Toyota for crap and giggles, turns out the headgasket recall in this had not been redeemed, that's because it doesn't apply to this year?? It's only 1988 - mid 1994 and mine is a June of 1995 about a year too late... oh well...

The lady on the phone also told me that my 4Runner was one of the last 2nd gens ever made!

Hmmmm, now you're getting serious! Best wishes on the swap man! MANY have done it... I've worked on a couple 16V 4 banger Yota motors, not this one, nor the 3.0.... I'll be watching, and great find. Very clean truck man! Congratz!!!
