Mnt dew & beer build

Bought this truck after my 1st one blew a rod but still kept on going. I'll never sell another one of my rigs again. this is an on going build.

How it started out

first thing i did was get rid of the bed, it was rusted so bad along the lower parts it was falling off. sanded the cab down bare metal. then heavy rust metal primer browned it.

of course i had to throw on my 33x12.50's and a 2" body lift and rock it like that for a while . even left on those crappy chrome running boards.

then went with dark forest green textured paint.

found a flatbed for cheaper then a case of royal purple oil.

how it looks with the tool boxes that came with it.

went offroading twice since i had it. 2nd trip was crossing this bog coming down from where the guy on the quad is. river mud bogs are like quick sand sunk the passenger side tire over the hub but flooded the inside cab bye bye ecu

^ this is taken the next day after it was pulled out. all that trenching and diverting the water to the other bog drained it down. if you look on the left bank *your right if your coming down from the quad in the truck* you can see where i was on the bank nearly made it across then the bank gave. next think you know im up in the air on the drivers side but slumped at a angle. if you look at the after pic of recovery. you can see the water lines angle by looking at the front bumper.

left it in the bog over night some guys with bigger meaner trucks pulled it out. and it sat at the service road.

got it home and it sat under the carport where it started out. picked up a couple parts while i'm awaiting something.

and a g2 spool for the rear with install kit

the only things that have changed are the paint job, height of cab, tires,

already has engine work done to it. .40 pistons needs a better cam but it's not power less. i've done 90 on the highway w/wo a bed. passed cars going up through the mountains.

only have the rear 2 mounted. the wheels i found there were only 3, I had no idea they discontinued them and are no longer in business . so it looks like i'll be running 2 diff sets of wheels. here's a pic with a yota with all 4.

I'll go grab a shot of the rears in a bit
length of new shackles, bored the holes to use the factory stock bolts.

it'll be after september before i can get video or pics of them in action. see no reason to fix the efi since im gonna switch to pane . 4.10's spooled rear on pane
