''hillbilly deluxe'' 86 toyota pickup build up

hey guys! time to start my build up thread. picked up my 1986 toyota pickup sr5 22re 5 speed late september and im already addicted to workin on her! always huntin down some more parts . anyways paid $2500 for her. body is incredibly strait, and has not a lick of rust! undercarriage is all coated. It has 250k on the frame. the motor was supposedly new but shes been burnin oil so new motor is in the cards. my plans are as follows:
1. sas on 33s.(when funding allows)
2. chevy 63'' leafs out rear
3. billstein or fox shox front and read
4. working on a front tube bumper( 1 1/2'' dom round tube . headache rack and full bed rails are also in the workings right now( 2''x2''x1/8'' for the rack)
5. eventually a full on flat bed.
6. motor rebuild/ swap this spring.(considering a 3rz.)
7. ? (will find somethin im sure!)

now on to the pics!

and picked up a new set of 31x10.50 cooper discoverer st.($780.00 otd with warranty, free flat fixes, rotation etc etc.

https://www.yotatech.com/members/hil...-bar-mount.jpg last 2 pics are of the broken tortion bar mount that i discovered on the passengers side. grinder, torch, mig, tools, elbo grease, and half a day and i had it back where it should be.( and quite a bit beefier too!) this thing was ready to tear OFF. glad i found it before something catastrophic happened! thats all i got for now guys, but more to come! enjoy! and best of wheelin to ya!

Your grill threw me for a loop for a minute. Took a few moments to figure it out. Great looking truck.

Nice truck, I like the color. That grill looks like it came that way, fits pretty good.

That color would be referred to as Olive Drab.
