Nice man!!! Glad you finally locked one down. Rebuilding the front axle I think was one of the funnest projects I have done on my truck. Just to take something that old and rusty and returning it to like new. The finished product is very rewarding.

I'm really looking forward to it. Gonna have to wait until next year after I get back from my deployment. Now I have to save up for the IFS eliminator kit, rear matching lift, wheels, tires, gears, and lockers....gonna be $$$

Nice truck, Set backs are nothing. We (me and my girlfriend) recently purchased a 1969 Ford e100 to build it out and live in it. The van was too old and unreliable so we sold it and bought a 4runner.

Only issue I had was my plastic fender wells in the front came loose on both sides and were causing a hell of a racket rubbing on the tires. Nothing some zips ties couldn't fix. Stopped at a Tractor supply store and grabbed some. Fixed it right up.

Yeah, I need to replace them anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal. Congrats on the runner. I'll get one some day.

It was bound to happen, and one night it did...so we have this hurricane coming and it came down to the Yota or the Mitsubishi Galant getting to stay in the garage With tha Yukon...well that was an easy call.

Been a long while since I last posted anything on here. Just wanted to toss an update out there. Nothing super exciting to report but got it detailed and after getting it all cleaned up I figured the wheels and center caps needed a refresh. So I started yanking them off one at a time for paint.
After hand wash, cut, buff, and two coats of wax.
Not bad but definitely needs some love. This is the before pic after putting new, matching lug nuts on.
After stripping and primer.
After paint and clear coat.
In the sun drying. Color came out nice.
After shot. Center cap stripped, primered, painted, cleared, sanded, the painted again. Love how it turned out!
