I found a 1986 toyota pickup base model in a junk yard in Georgia. It was pretty rough the driver side door was bent to pieces and the window was busted. The front window had a bad crack in it and you could barely see out of it. The interior was destroyed, the seat was ruined, the dash etc.
The only rust in the truck was in the bed which was the good part of the truck. The engine (22r) was shot 209,000. The transmission seemed to be fine. I gave 600 bucks for it and hauled it to the house. I cleaned up the truck pressure washed it (inside and out) took most of the interior out. After it was all clean out i started the rebuild process. I started with the engine i did a complete rebuild to it bored it 30 over. Transmission shifted and everything great. Tore the old exhaust off and put a straight pipe coming out the drivers side. Bought a new door for it and a front window. Also bought a new seat, camo headliner, door panels, dash, camo seat covers, camo steering wheel cover, new speakers, door speakers, subs for behind the seat, camo floor mats, new camo carpet. After i finished the inside i started the outside. I put new rims going all the way around i bought 86 factory steel rims and dipped them black. Put 33x12.50s tires on it which were pretty close to scrubbing but fit.

What havnt installed yet (because waiting on the paint job) is new front black grill and bumper, new hood with small hood scoop, black brush guard, black side mirrors, 4 inch body lift kit, sx8000 nitro gas powered shocks, 12,000 lb winch, new skid plate, new paint in bed liner, i had all the rust holes either replaced with fiber glass or bondo. I have new black toyota stickers for the back and trd offroading devoplement for the sides. Im getting it painted the original red color. Pictures coming soon from start to finish.
