migrig's craigslist build up 85 4runner
i have had my 4runner for a alittle over 5 years now, my dad bought it for 1,000 bucks with alittle over 100,000 miles on it. not knowing what a gem he got when i was younger, put now stoked that i have a great wheeler. have been driving it for around 3 years and building it for 2. i am working and going to school, and paying off a 6 grand loan for my ankle surgery, stupid accident and didnt have health insurence, so dont have to much money. so i turn to my favorite web site besides yotatech of course, craigslist. to build most of my 4runner. my first thing i really got was a 3inch rough country $400, bald 33s $100, and some aluminum 15x10 rims $110 also bought a trail gear front bumper of ebay $342 shipped. didnt do so bad, kept up with my wheeling friends in nice jk and tj. and conquered jeep miller trail, gorman runs and a few local spots.
that is what it looked like with those upgrades.
then decided to ditch ˟˟˟˟ country front springs and bald 33s for some new upgrade.

then pick up brand new downey front 3" springs and lift shackles for 100 off craigslist. and 5 procomp xterrains with 80 percent left for 220. and some rear lift shackles for 75 at 4wheelparts and procomp 9000 all round for 150. i am still running the rear rough country springs, not to bad with some good shackles and shocks. cut the fenders front and back and did a self tint job for 20 bucks. how it sits now.

last friday i got i pick up to brand new racing bucket seats for 20 bucks each off cl. cant beat that price. they are different colors but i dont care at all better then my old seats with a chunk of foam missing. they pretty bad.
seats taken out.
still waiting for the sliders to come in 17 bucks each online. and going to make homemade brackets. so it will be a cheap seat swap.
and u can see my homemade cup holder. i just dont get why no cup holder in these toyotas. it hard to steer and shift with a beer in your hand on the trail.

got some wheeling pic from a few months back, some flex shots, just showing off my 425 dollar lift with shocks. not to bad. does well
me with my cast still on a few months back, doesnt mean i cant still wheel even with a clutch and some bolts and a metal plate in my ankle haha.
sorry for the weird camera angles, i could find a way to change them.
i will update any other upgrades and other stuff i get off craigslist. this is not going to be the fastest build but it is going to be kind of cheap. tell me what u guys think. thanks
