cpariani's 84 yota build thread
Picked up this truck about a year ago for 1500 and just decided i would post a build thread. I started off with an 84 single cab with the 22r bored .30 over and 5 speed tranny 33 12.50 hercules trail digger m/ts other than that all stock.
As of now its got custom rear and front winch bumper that i built with a warn 8000 pound winch. Freshly rebuilt rear axle out of an 86 toy with 4.10 gears.

I think they do great! I was breaking trail and pushing snow with my bumper and doing good and that was with maybe 50 percent tread. There isnt to much snow around here yet to really test out the new set, but Airing them down to 20 psi helped a ton compared to the 35 i run on the road.

I'm not happy Hercules doesen't offer the Trail Digger in a 32x11.5x15 -- that's the perfect size for my truck at this point. The 33" Trail Diggers are a wide 33x12.5x15 (meaning, wider than many other 33x12.5x15s) so I might have to do a slight bit of clearancing to get them to fit.

i like your rear bumper..I would just tie the side bars into the frame, looks like it got tweeked up slightly.
mud flaps: get some tubing and make them removeable..something like this:
you can than pull them off when you head out on the trail, take a minute to get back on when you hit the road..

There are some 32"-sized metric sizes but they require a 16-17" rim and the load ranges are D and E -- good for some heavy Toyotas or rock runners but too heavy duty for what I need.
