Yeah dude, you have some serious fab skills - fab skills that I am totally jealous of.
Saw the Jeep commercial, aside from all the Jeep stuff it was awesome.

THANK YOU for the compliment!
The tailgate came out GREAT. I am the most happy with the tailgate. I found the old style with the relief TOYOTA on the back and the two side latches. I never thought I would find the tailgate I found. It really didn't need a ton of work.
I hope to have this thing ready for paint by next week.

I really don't have much patience these days. I took on this little truck to learn and so far it has been nothing but a learning experience. The frame and most of the body is in decent shape and It's not all terrible. I will be relieved when it is done or at least painted done.

It's interesting how the rust developed on this truck. 95% of the truck is perfect, not a spot of rust and then there are spots like the ones above. Totally rotted out. The frame, however, is in excellent shape. Only surface rust, no rot.
I think I am going to paint this truck the same as my 94 (Landcruiser dune beige.) It is so close to the 4A8 paint on there now.

Dude...you rock.
You should start up your own business, flipping 1st gens or something.
Seriously great work - I can't wait to see the finished product...or at least the painted product.
