Vinyl Dash Trim Kit???
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...spagenameZWDVW
Anyone ever hear about this stuff. My brother has a 94 camry with a crappy wood trim kit. He wants a cheap fix. Is this worth it or can the peices be taken off and painted?

took the crappy wood trim off my runner.. if you have patience you might not have to repaint at all. if not its not hard to sand em and spray em.
i dont have any experience with this vinyl dash thing, but it seems like you'd wanna remove the wood anyway at which point my recommend would be to spray.

Interesting... as a side note for those of you contemplating sanding your "wood" trim for refinishing, I've been to the factory where they make some of the interiors for yota, chrysler and some others and it is not wood at all just printed vinyl (very thin) so be very careful you don't sand through it...

not sure about the camry, but the ones in my 4runner, which i think were toyota originals since it hat the toyota "T" on it. were wood with some kind of gelcoat. for whatever tht is worth, haha.
