I assume it will work for any engine and model? it just goes right in where the stocker is? CA smog legal?

yeah its obd1 in all states but Cali..

cut out the old and weld in the new...
hopefully you have a 2" system..

What is the stock sized piping on a 92 pickup?

not sure on piping size..

I was planning on going to all 2" and ended up at 2.5"
