why wouldnt it? the diff's might need repairing, a fluid change for sure, but as long as the engine runs i'll take it and fix it up my self.

the guy that has it currently drove it till something broke then parked it to sit. theres a really nice 65 chevy right behind it with a toasty rear dif. im sure its been neglected till something went and there it sat.

If you would drive a truck with a cracked frame 4000 miles, than you are a brave boy. If you can barely afford $100 brake lines than making a drive like that is a horrible idea. I wouldn't even drive my nice '00 without PLENTY of backup $$...anything can happen, and I've driven 1/2 way across Mexico.

...not to mention you'd probably spend $1500 on fuel alone.
