1997 4Runner V6 5spd E-Locker! Must be sold by Saturday(7/31)! $2225 OBO!!! L@@K!
Sadly, My 4Runner and I must go separate ways... I need the money to go on a once in a life time road trip and I MUST have cash in hand and the 4Runner gone by this Saturday, 07/31/2010. ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE ENTERTAINED!
The vehicle is located 50 miles north of Harrisburg, PA in Selinsgrove, PA 17870.
Ok, here is the scoop...
1997 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD
Installed Features:
--5 speed manual
--E-Locker!
--Black exterior with gray cloth interior
--Tow package, but the hitch needs replaced
--Power everything, has a sunroof too!
--A/C, and yes, it works!
--Cruise Control
--2" OME Lift
--Comes with a spare set of 1/4 tread BF Goodrich A/T KOs (265/75R16)
--Hella 500 Driving Lights
--Factory Roof Rack with cross bars
--Rubber utility mat in cargo area
Facts and Details:
--226,000 miles and still going strong! Engine starts right up every time, runs very smooth, no noises, no smoke, just a great running 5VZ-FE
--Steering rack replaced, now has 130k or so on it, I just installed brand new mounting bushings May 2010
--Rear End was replaced, bought with 85k from a 99 Limited, I serviced it before installation 4k miles ago, May 2010 (diff locker wiring needs connected, I ran out of time).
--Power steering pump from the same 99 Limited also installed, no leaks!
--I am the second owner
--Clean CarFax, Clean PA Title, and I even have the Window Sticker!
--Vehicle has had synthetic oil since 100k miles, changed every 5k miles, does NOT use oil!
--Runs and drives, has valid PA inspection until 04/2011
--Original Clutch with 226,000, doesn't slip but the bearings are going...
--Needs a set of tires and a little rust repair to the rocker panels, frame is solid with only surface rust in spots, and it could probably benefit from a new catalytic converter, but runs fine as-is (been getting 20-22 MPGs )
Bottom Line: This is a solid truck with many more years of life in it! I just took it on a 400 mile road trip with NO hiccups and averaged 23.1 MPG's! Daily driving around town has still been yielding right around 20 MPGs on every tank. I feel confident you could drive this vehicle home, wherever it is that you live. It runs and drives, no accidents, what more could you ask for? Ultra rare manual with e-locker, snatch this thing up before its gone!
NEW PICS TO FOLLOW AS SOON AS I GET IT CLEANED UP!
Serious inquiries only, I am very busy this week. If you can't drive a manual, I will take you for a ride, my vehicle is not for learning on...
PM me on here, or call me at 570.765.8088. My name is Clint, and I'd love this sweet runner to find a great home with a fellow yota enthusiast!
In the meantime, here are some other pics from when I bought it January 09:

high ish mileage
rust on the frame, quarter panels, rear bumper
needs a new catalytic converter
needs new tires
needs a new clutch
even with the things it needs, i'd ask more. but its not my truck.
bump for a cheap price.

I know.... I freakin love this thing to death, but as a question of practicallity, this is the right thing to do at this point in my life... I have no money to invest in this thing right now... I keep telling myself I will own another in a year or two when I can afford it, and I will get another, probably a 99 because I like the grille and front end better, so until then, I will have to settle for the original love of my life, the classic 3rd gen pickup . At least I won't be Toy-less
