1989 Toyota pickup in southwest michigan for sale
Well, i've had this truck for about a year and don't have time to mess with it. The truck runs well, but sputters when you first take off when it is cold. After that sputter, it seems to run great. I have about $2500 into it, no including the truck. Here's what i've done.
New Parts:
Fuel Tank
Fuel Sending Unit
Fuel Pickup
Airtex Fuel Pump
Fuel Lines
Front And Rear Brakes
Exhaust Pipe And Muffler From Manifold Back
Radiator
Clutch
Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires, Air Filter
Complete Front Steering Linkage (tie rods, crossbars)
Front End Alignment
31x10.50x15 Maxxis Tires
Used: 22RE with 125,000 miles-runs good, but dealership said it needs timing chain upgrade and has lifter noise.
Overall it is not a bad truck and alot more solid than any of the yotas around here in this year. Needs 2 front fenders which are $30 each at the body panel place in Kalamazoo and some bumpers. Here's the pics (probably too big). I just don't have the time to mess with it anymore. Make offer, I know I probably won't get all my money back out of it. About $3000 into it total with the truck.

The truck has 126,000 miles on it. I just don't want to put anymore money into it. I know if I start working on it again, it will end up with a new motor, body panels, and damn near be mint and then i'll never get my money back out of it. This was a truck I should have just walked away from once I started replacing major items like entire fuel systems.
