1-owner 1990 4runner 22RE 5spd, 4.88 gears, new 33"s, American Racing rims -Baltimore

I bought this 1990 SR5 4Runner in 2006 from the original owners who bought it off the Toyota lot 16 years ago, and garage kept every night - new timing chain, new HG, all freshened up. The paint was BEAUTIFUL, and its one of the few 90s I've seen without those horrible graphics. ICE cold AC, all manual everything, etc.

After purchasing it, I found some low mileage complete 4.88 axle assemblies from a newer auto, and swapped them in (instead of 4.10s). This is the perfect combination for the brand new 33x11.50 Kuhmo All-Terrains (with receipts and warranty from Tire Rack - literally 300 miles on them) on 16x8 Polished American Racing Atlas wheels. At the same time I put a set of 2" rear coil spacers on and replaced all the brake pads.

I swapped in a newer toyota black leather (smaller diameter) steering wheel, gave it a complete tune up and intake tract cleanout, new O2 sensor, tstat, U and CV joints and boots, valve adjustments, etc, basically any maintenance item I forsaw it needing in the future.

I love the truck and really dont want to sell it...it gets excellent gas mileage and gets TONS of looks, and [if I had time] would be killer on the trial. However, I just found out our first child is on the way, so I need to reduce the number of vehicles I own (7 at this point in time) Therefore I'm putting my prize posession up for sale. Asking price is NOW 5,950.00 obo. I can guarantee you will not find another 5spd 22RE Second Gen truck in this condition ANYWHERE. I will hold off a few weeks before putting it on Autotrader, but I'd like to see it gone fairly soon as I have a couple other vehilces to start concentrating on selling, etc. Please email me with any questions, I"m not on the board that much: Justins311 at hotmail.com

The only problems:

-small dimple in the front chrome bumper (neighbor nicked me backing up, can post pics)
-two scratches in the rear tailgate, and a missing "T" in the toyota emblem
-small worn patch in the drivers seat, rest of interior is great
-grease/bleach stain in hatch area (previous owner)

Maybe my eyes are not seeing it correctly or if it's just the angle of your pics. For some reason I thought 2" rear coil spacers would give you a little more rake than what I am seeing. I've got 1.25" spacers and my rear end looks higher than yours. Did you crank your torsion bars or lift the front end?

LOL, I thought I was going crosseyed too when I uploaded the pics. It must be the angle that that parking lot was at because it LOOKS higher in the front to me too. Here is a picture of it with the SAME suspension but the original 31" tires I bought it with:

As you can see its slightly eleveated in the REAR when its flat. If anybody has doubts and its keeping them from buying it I will happily go park it on FLAT ground and retake some pics :p

ALSO, if anybody is interested I can find some stock wheels and tires (dont' have any but can find some) and drop the price to $5,600.00. The main reason I need to ask 6500 is because I just dropped $1500 bucks on those wheels and tires before I found out my wife was pregnant :o

Man...no actvity lately. Well, if I dont have any serious interest soon I guess I will reconsider keeping it and selling one of my other cars (Scion xB if anybody wants one of those! LMAO). Email is Justins311 at hotmail.com if interested.

Wife is considering a newer 4runner (2000+) as her daily so may consider partial trade of mine + cash to anybody who has one of those for sale.
