Bulges on Tire Sidewall

There are over (12) tire brands currently on RECALL that your
local Offroad 4WP Store and other Tire Companies have sold.

Over 48,000 Pro Comp A/T LT265/75R16 are being recalled,

Reasons:: A Bulge Can Occur in the Lower Sidewall on the
White Sidewall Which Indicates the Existence of a
Separation Between Two Lower Sidewall Components.
The Cooper Tire Co. manufactures just some of the following
183,602 Units Affected on the RECALL List below,
Pro Comp Xtreme A/T
Cooper Discoverer S/T,
Dean Mud Terrain Radial SXT
Durango Radial XTR,
Mastercraft Courser C/T,
Dick Cepek Radial F-C II,
Mesa C/T,
Tempra Trailcutter Radial RT.
If this is your case, then the local Offroad 4WP Store is
required by law to replace them ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE
No Additional Charges for Balance and Rotation, etc.,
as you already have payed for these services.

then you could file a complaint with (ALL) the following

This can also happen from hitting potholes or curbs at high speeds, called an impact break. They are usually smaller at first but can grow over time. They're also caused just by defects in the building of the specific tire. Most people don't realize how much can go wrong with their tires and how dangerous it can be.

I spent 26 years in the tire business and can tell you , Generals were THE WORST tire I have ever seen , for sidewall/tread seperations . I bought a new S-10 in the early 90's and didnt even make it home , brand new General ,kaboom .

register your tires!
as soon as I got home from having my ATR's installed, I went online and regestered them. they have a # like UT1YC8EXXXX. THATS THE NUMBER THEY WILL ASK FOR. this way they will notify you if there's a recall
