Pirelli Scorpions ...snow traction ?
I am looking at some new A/T's to go with my recent 2" lift. Before you say, I am not using MT's
I will be running 32's (265/75/16 ~ 31.7") and spend the winter commuting to a ski resort in WV.
So, I need a tire that is good in wet/slick conditions , falling snow and also pretty good in hardpack. I have been running Dueller A/T's and I am happy but would like slightly more confidence in snow.
Anyone with Scorpions have REGULAR snow experience ?
Thanks
David

My best friend back in Wyoming got a set of Scorpions for his S-10 Blazer and they were great. In fact, I had BFG A/T's at the time on my Toyota Pick-Up and I really liked the look of his tires better.
We drove his truck every day in the snow, and to many ski resorts and they were great tires. I liked the fact that they were pretty quiet on the freeway, but had loads of traction in the snow.
He's never said anything bad about them.

Well, I don't get regular snow use out of them, but the one time I went snowboarding with them they were pretty good. I tried to lose control on a deserted road, but couldn't. Of course, I was probably going too slow.
Hope this helps,
Steve
